Inspirational Quotes and Ideas
To Comfort Your Chronic Pain

Are you enduring chronic pain?
Coping with health challenges?
Feeling emotionally tapped and broken?

Chronic Pain Picture

Ease the mental and physical grind of pain
with inspirational quotes

You may be thinking. . .

"Inspirational quotes? . . . Are you kidding me! . . . Are you some kind of nut? . . . Do you even know what it feels like to have pain?"

If you’re dealing daily with ongoing physical pain and health difficulties, then you already know what a struggle it can be to keep yourself mentally strong and in good spirits. You know that no matter how grueling the day-to-day physical distress can be - the mental component resulting from pain and illness is equally as tough - if not harder to endure.

“It’s not the one time blood, sweat and tears
of the climb to the mountain top,
It’s the ground level walk of agony
From the persistent pebble in your shoe
Day after day that doesn’t goes away.”

…Anonymous

Keeping yourself mentally strong is vital to your well-being in going the distance for whatever pain or health situation you are facing.

Do you sometimes wonder if it is possible to heal and to be free of pain?

Or how much better life would be if you could turn down the intensity of your pain so that you could at least be comfortable?

Having asked those same questions, all of us here at Inspirational Quotes and Notes can empathize with you because we know what it feels like to face pain everyday. We understand the emotional struggles and frustration that pain can cause in your present life as compared to your life “Before Pain”.

Here are some new questions to consider:

  • Can you still enjoy your life and present moments in spite of the physical pain?

  • In a worst case scenario, can you love your life even if the pain never goes away?

  • Can you embrace or possibly consider your pain situation as a gift?

  • Can you enjoy the here and now while your body is in the process healing?

Personally, we do believe that that the body can heal and that it is completely possible to feel good again. But like us, you don’t always know how long or short your pain journey or pain situation will be. And there can be so many feelings of discouragement when it is taking so long to recover. . . or the pain situation stays the same . . . or when you backslide.

We once heard the following statements.

“ The world doesn’t wait for you to get over it.”
”You can’t make a plant grow faster.”

In other words –

Your life is going by, moment by moment.
You can’t always make your pain situation go away any faster.
Make the most of the cards you have been dealt
and what is remaining in this moment
so that you don’t waste any time with your life.

So that you are not waiting for your pain to disappear before you live each day, it’s important to find ways to make yourself feel comfortable in spite of the challenges you are facing and the emotions you are feeling. Knowing that this present moment is all that you have and because you don’t know how long your pain situation will be, it’s necessary for you to know how to:

  • Inspire yourself
  • Comfort yourself
  • Maybe even distract yourself

Why?

Because No One can do it for you.

Granted, your doctor can help with your treatment plan, a friend or family member can lighten the load, and even your pet can give you some comforting love. But you are in that body of yours 24/7.

It’s not only important – it’s vital that your thoughts and images keep you emotionally fortified. Nourished not only for the long haul, but for the moments when you find yourself falling into the pit of despair. You know - those times when you are physically and emotionally depleted, curled up in a ball in your bed and all you can do is cry.

So, begin to fill yourself up again so you can sustain yourself.

Throughout the site, there are many inspirational quotes to help you shift your thoughts and lift your emotions. You will also find many tips, notes and coping tools that we have personally used to help ourselves have more good days than bad.

Come take a walk with us to learn how to replace that pebble in your shoe with a grain of sand. Reduce the irritation so that you can more comfortably walk this emotional marathon resulting from chronic pain or illness.

By inspiring and comforting yourself in this moment, may your marathon become an easy, breezy 50 yard sprint.

May Comfort Be Yours!
